ANTIQUE BUCKEYE “BUBBLE LATTICE” TAPERED
BLUE OPALESCENT SUGAR SHAKER
Available for purchase is a Victorian-era sugar shaker, or muffineer, attributed to the Buckeye Glass Company in Martins Ferry, Ohio.  The pattern is called “Bubble Lattice”, produced by Buckeye circa 1889.  The color is blue opalescent.
This pattern was made in several different shapes, including this scarce tapered form.  The shaker stands about 4 7/8″ tall to the top of the lid.  The body is approximately 3 1/4″ wide near the base.  It has a period-correct metal lid.
I purchased this sugar shaker at a recent estate sale.  It’s guaranteed to be an antique shaker from the late 1800’s and NOT a modern reproduction.  Please check my positive feedback and buy with confidence from a trusted seller.
Condition of this Victorian-era sugar shaker is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites.  The threads underneath the lid have some very minor rim roughness, as made.  The metal lid has some some discoloration areas but no dents.  Overall, this antique sugar shaker looks fantastic and displays beautifully.  It would make a fine addition to any collection.  Please take a close look at the many photos I’ve provided and judge condition for yourself.  I’m confident you’ll be very pleased with this purchase!
