Beautiful Cree Moose Hide Moccasins, circa 1920 to 1940
These moccasins are made of moose hide- tuck pointed with muskrat trim around the ankle. Puck is beaded with white, yellow, brown, blue and pearl white beads.
These were purchased in 1992 from the Sherman Holbert Collection, Ft Mille Lacs Village. This collection is reputable and very well known- Sherman has since passed but he was always a pleasure to deal with.
The moccasins show very light wear, but no holes or missing beads. Beautiful pair!
