- Condition: This hygrometer is in Good Condition. I set it on a damp paper towel, and the needle moved up the humidity scale. The glass cover is intact with no chips or cracks. Looks like it took a little bump at the bottom, so there is a small dent in the retainer ring. The glass cover is slightly loose right now, but you can work with the retainer ring to tighten that up.
Description
Vintage Mid-Century Modern Desktop Hygrometer Humidity Gauge. Very neat design – black face with with white strike marks, glass cover, gold mesh surround, and wood frame. Swing out stand lets you set it on your desk, or fold the stand inwards and hang it on the wall. There is a screw on the back that lets you calibrate the hygrometer to your known humidity so that it registers correctly going forward. Very attractive design and color scheme. Measures about 4.25″ X 3″.
